Donate your Treat

Welcome to a real alternative to Trick or Treat!

The idea is simple-the money you might have spent on buying Trick or Treat items can be donated to the Children's Society.

Trick or Treat moves from being an often anti-social event and becomes a chance to help children improve their lives.

If you decide to donate to The Children's Society you will have access to a special poster for your window. The poster asks Trick or Treat caller not to knock as you have already donated your Treat to charity.

Do please donate...and don't forget to Gift Aid.

"The Children's Society took me in. They looked after me. They cared about me. They worried about me. They won't let me take my tablets when I want to overdose. They stop me doing stupid things."

What your donation could mean

£5 can enable a child - being bullied in the school or community - to have their first 20-minute session with one of our specialist workers.

£10 would provide a homeless young person with basic provisions including warm clothing, toiletries and a blanket.

£20 pays to hire a specially equipped ' sensory room' for a day - enabling disabled children to improve their sensory perception.

£50 pays for a project worker to spend three hours giving practical help to a young runaway.
